Active civic participation is essential for building democratic, inclusive, and resilient societies. However, many young people today feel disconnected from decision-making processes or unsure how they can contribute to positive social change. Encouraging youth engagement helps young people recognize the value of their voices, ideas, and actions within their communities and beyond.
The CIVIC project promotes active citizenship by creating opportunities for young people to collaborate, exchange perspectives, and engage in meaningful discussions about social issues affecting their communities. Through virtual exchanges, group activities, and intercultural dialogue sessions, participants will develop communication, teamwork, and leadership skills while learning how collective action can create positive impact.
Throughout the project, participants will work together on creative solutions addressing common social challenges, encouraging them to become more engaged in community initiatives and public dialogue. The project will also provide safe spaces where young people can openly share their opinions, learn from one another, and strengthen their confidence to participate actively in civic life.
By supporting youth engagement and collaboration across borders, CIVIC contributes to empowering a new generation of socially responsible young people who are motivated to contribute to democratic participation, solidarity, and positive social transformation.
